dairy free peanut butter brownie recipe

These (dairy and gluten free) Peanut Butter Brownies are BOMB! I top them with my favorite vegan ice cream ~ Amy's Mocha Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. If I didn't tell you what was in them you'd have no idea they were dairy and gluten free. They're rich, moist, chewy, and SOOOO GOOD!!!

What you'll need:
  • 1/2c organic peanut butter (no sugar added!)
  • 1/4c raw organic honey 
  • 1 tsp organic vanilla extract 
  • 1/2c organic applesauce (no sugar added! The only ingredient should be organic apples)
  • 1/2c organic raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt
Directions:
Mix applesauce, peanut butter, honey, and vanilla together in a bowl until smooth. Add in cacao powder, baking soda, and salt and mix until thick and gooey. Pour into an 8x8 baking pan (greased- I use coconut oil to grease the pan) Bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 mins. *Optional ~ Top with your favorite ice cream. Enjoy!!
